JAPAN: The Bizarre and the Wondrous!

This is a collection of articles and essays on the cultural factors, including fertility festivals and the entertainment facilities from bars, cabarets to geisha inns, that make Japan one of the most fascinating and seductive countries in the world.

One of the most extraordinary stories is a legend that Jesus Christ spent his “missing years” in Japan, was not crucified when he returned to Jordan [the story says it was his brother Isukiri who was executed], went back to Japan, married, had children and lived there the rest of his life. There are  records of this story in the village of Herai and the tomb where he was buried.
